One of the initial objectives of PFMG2025 is to establish a set of strategic infrastructures to integrate genomic sequencing into the healthcare pathway. These structures, spread across the country, ensure high-quality, secure care that is accessible to all patients concerned.
Laboratoires for very high-throughput genome sequencing (LBM-FMG)
LBM-FMG laboratories are the operational pillars of PFMG2025. They perform very high-throughput human genome sequencing for patients with validated indications. These laboratories guarantee the reliability of analyses and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. Two structures, AURAGEN and SeqOIA, are currently operational and provide access to genetic testing throughout France.
Data collector and analyser (CAD)
The CAD is an infrastructure dedicated to the collection, archiving and analysis of genomic data produced within the framework of PFMG2025. It ensures the traceability and security of information and makes it available for research and medico-economic evaluation purposes.
Centre for Innovation, Expertise and Transfer (CRefiX)
The CRefiX plays a central role in disseminating best practices, training healthcare professionals and transferring technological innovations. It facilitates the integration of scientific advances into everyday clinical practice and supports the emergence of a French industrial sector in genomic medicine.
