The Data Central Analyzer (CAD) aims to provide an infrastructure for the collection of genomic data and the provision of services related to both healthcare and research. The reuse of data from the PFMG2025 for research purposes is part of an open science approach. The objective is to allow the broadest possible access to the data, while ensuring their security and respecting a set of scientific and ethical criteria defined by a dedicated working group and approved by the PFMG2025 governance. The Scientific and Ethics Committee (CSE) of the CAD is responsible for ensuring that research projects accessing the data comply with these criteria

CAD Data Access Support Desk

This support desk is the contact point for all questions regarding access to data from the PFMG2025. It has been set up to assist project leaders with the procedures for accessing PFMG2025 data. Project leaders are encouraged to contact the support desk in order to prepare their application file before submitting it to the CSE Secretariat. To contact the CAD support desk, please send an email to CAD Support Desk : etude@genomecad.fr

Procedure for Accessing CAD Data for a Research Project

  • The project leader requesting access to CAD data contacts the CAD Support Desk at: etude@genomecad.fr to prepare the application file.
  • The project leader submits an application to the CAD Support Desk.
  • The CAD Single Support Desk reviews the application to assess its admissibility and the feasibility of the project.
  • The project leader may then submit the application to the CSE Secretariat for evaluation.
  • The CSE assesses the compliance of the research project with the data access criteria. It meets at least six times per year. Following a collegial discussion, it may issue a favourable Notice, a favourable Notice with recommendations, a Reserved Notice or an unfavourable opinion.
  • The CSE’s motivated Notice is sent to the project leader within 15 days following the session in which the project was evaluated.
  • In case of a Reserved Notice, the project is given methodological support by the CAD teams to help obtain a favourable opinion from the CSE.
  • If the CSE issues a favourable opinion (with or without recommendations), the Central Contract organizes regular meetings with the project leader to define a provisional timeline for data access, taking into account data availability at CAD, any necessary import of complementary data, CAD’s workload, and the finalization date of the file (funding and regulatory authorizations).
  • A collaboration contract and project leader commitments are signed.
  • A dedicated secure space is created within the CAD to allow access to the PFMG2025 data.
