Presentation
Conditions:
- For constitutional analysis: at least two individuals (up to a maximum of four) affected by cancers within the suspected predisposition spectrum.
- These individuals must be chosen with care according to their position within the family pedigree.
- Appropriate diagnostic genetic analyses must have been performed beforehand in accordance with current standards and must have yielded negative results.
Criteria before considering a discussion in MDM-FMG
- The patient must be available for a new blood sample and informed that their case will be presented at a multidisciplinary team meeting.
- Relatives must be available:
- For isolated cases, ensure that both parents are available (trio analysis).
- For familial cases, ensure that affected relatives are available.
- Tumours must be anatomopathologically confirmed:
- Samples from the index case and affected relatives should be available.
- Appropriate routine constitutional and/or tumour genetic analyses must have been performed.
- Frozen tumour material should be available (optional).
- The case should preferably have been discussed in a local multidisciplinary team meeting prior to submission.
